This is from a practice run a friend worked with me on today for an anamorphic street painting I'm doing for the Dogwood Arts Festival Chalk Walk on April 21st in Knoxville, TN.
Anamorphic drawings are only seen correctly from a certain angle, which creates the illusion of 3-dimensional space by utilizint the 1-point perspective view from a camera lens. Kurt Wenner and Julian Beever are two famous sidewalk artists who have pioneered this technique.
